The Last Steep Ascent Finale

Moses came in time to save Kenny from getting arrested. Aimee confess that she was sexually harass by the strange man.

Kenny propose to Aimee. Finally, they're a married couple! Moses attend the wedding but Maggie didn't. It seem that she is still avoiding Moses.

Moses help Joel's company because he owe Joel a lot. Joel went to America or is it England to get his eye surgery. Samantha Ko went with him. Joel told her that she is no longer known as his fourth wife but his first wife now!

Maggie lost the company to Edwin and his dad. Edwin plan to make the company lose everything so that he can establish his own company in Hong Kong. Whereas his dad want the company to be a success, so that everyone will agree to allow Edwin to be the boss permanently. Edwin believes that with a lot of money he can open his own business and be the boss himself.

Edwin was arrested for selling black market stuff. His father had a stroke and suffer badly. He apologise to Maggie's mother in law and ask for her forgiveness.

When the company was to the point when Edwin sold the company to a man, it was reveal that the person behind this was Moses. He secretly help the company by buying the company and return it to the rightful owner.

Maggie thanks him and ask him when will she see him again. He said where the moon is, is where he will be.

Maggie's mother in law told her to leave this family and be with the man she loved. The next day, her mother in law left to another town.

Maggie did as what she was told. She came to land that Moses used to lived.

Eventually, she climb the mountain and she found the moon. Moses was living there and they lived happily ever after.

Her three children lived with them but eventually it was boring. So they lived down the mountains. Many years has pass, Moses had built her the stairs and he was dying of old age. Maggie held his hand and said "I am 8 years older than you. Don't leave me."

Raymond Wong was a guest star. He played as the eldest son of Maggie.

Eventually, Moses died and Maggie had a dream that Moses told her to not follow him and live to the fullest. Maggie agree to lived down the mountain.

I really like the black and white slide show of the pictures when the kids were getting a hair cut to the part when Moses and Maggie sat on a bench laughing at some jokes.

The ending kind of remind me of "No Regrets,"

I really like this drama. It is good to know that this is base on a true story.

The Last Steep Ascent eps 19-22

Moses and Maggie are keeping a distance because of rumors! I feel sorry for them, I know that they like each other but Maggie kept on saying that she is eight years older than him. Does age really matters?

Kenny and Aimee. What can I say? I love this couple to bits! When the man that rape Aimee kept on annoying her, Kenny would come and beat the man! Kenny didn't know that she was rape, he thought that the man was asking for money and trying to rob her.

A lot of things had happen for this couple. Aimee love Kenny so she order a suits for him and ask the man that made it to deliver it to Kenny's house.

Edwin and his father throw a tantrum and finally had the company to themselves! To be honest, I was hoping the scene would be more dramatic but it wasn't. Like every TVB series, it was supposed to be dramatic when the bad people take the company away! Where is the wow factor?

Aimee lost the baby and now she is in the hospital. Kenny is about to be arrested for beating a man almost to death (the man that had ruin Aimee's life). I have to wait until eps 23 until I get to know what happen.

I hope that Aimee and Kenny will be together!

Moses work with Maggie now. It seem that these two had already develop a crush on each other.

I really like Kenny's character here. He is so nice to Aimee. When Aimee hit rock bottom, he was there to save her. When Aimee was pregnant and she wanted to kill herself, he told her that he will say that the baby is his, even though it isn't. He say he will take her away where no one knows them and live in a quiet life. He could give up everything for her. No wonder she like him. Kenny, however, still couldn't forget his ex-wife, which has the same name as Aimee's character.

Maggie offer Aimee to live with her, Maggie thought that the baby was her husband but it wasn't. It was from the terrible man that ruin her lives (the man that rape her). Aimee agree to because she doesn't want to be selfish and made Kenny leave everything behind.

Maggie need to convince the old lady first, so Aimee is staying at Kenny's place for now.

Based on a true story, about a man fell in love with a woman eight years his senior. Before he died he carved out the stairs for his wife to walk easily.

 

 

The first 12 eps is so good. Moses own Maggie's husband cash because Moses wanted to sell this herbal plant at the #1 shop but Edwin and his dad was mean and wouldn't purchase it at a reasonable price. So Maggie's husband help Moses.

 

 

Moses work for Joel Chan and his wife, Samantha Ko. Joel adores Moses talent and always wants Moses to be the manger but he refuse plenty of time. Now, Kenny and his two best friends work for Joel.

 

Aimee and Maggie's husband had an affair. Anyway, in eps 12 or 11, Maggie's husband died.

 

So the company is all on Benjamin's hand but he couldn't deal with the pressure and disappear. So Maggie is the boss. She had to work hard. Moses often comes and tell that her herbal shop is not buying other small business herbal and that's why Joel's place was buying it all.

 

 

Aimee was sad that the man died and she started to drink a lot more often. Kenny saw her and they had small talks. She said that she is no one and no one cares about her anymore. Something bad happen later. She started to drink at the dark and a drunk man saw her. She ran and at some point I was praying that Kenny would come and save her but he didn't. Because she was rape by the drunk man. Kenny where were you when she needed you most.

 

 

I saw the two little kids that play as Raymond Wong and Nikki Chow younger version in Bottled Passion  was in this drama and this time they were siblings. Every time I saw them I would always scream out their Bottled Passion characters name.
