Its been 12 years since this drama has broadcasted. How much has time flies. I miss old TVB dramas where they put so much effort into their story and war scenes.
Since re-watching this drama, it makes me realize how strong love can be. Like if you were meant to be, you will be together.
Steven and Charmaine were childhood sweethearts in the palace, but because of jealousy and the thirst to be Empress, an evil concubine blames Maggie, (who plays as Charmaine's mother) that she was the one that poison her causing her to lose her son at birth. Moses and his mother were furious and banished Maggie. Being a loving daughter, Charmaine pleaded to Moses to let her go with her mother.
Because of it, Steven and Charmaine were separated at 11 years old.
Time flies, and Charmaine, Maggie, Sonja and her grandpa lived in a small village where Charmaine buy fish and deliver it to the soldiers. Whereas Steven's family were living in a horrible condition making Steven work in a canon company. His friend, Michael Tong, met Charmaine and fancy her.
Anyways, Charmaine left her village to work in a canon company owes by Michael Tong's father. It also happens to be where Steven works too.
You could imagine how frustrated I was when every times Charmaine and Steven inopportunity to see each other. And when they did, I was hoping that they would recognize each other. At some point Charmaine realize that Steven was her childhood sweetheart, but because she promise her mother that she would not expose her identity in fear that people will assassin them, so she didn't tell him.
Eventually Steven realize that Charmaine was his sweetheart. At the same time Charmaine and her family returned to the palace.
Things happen and Steven were in the palace with Michael. We later found out that Steven was engaged to Annie Man.
And Maggie found out that the evil concubine framed her. In order to protect her children, Sonja and Charmaine, she seek elsewhere to find evidence. Annie's dad had a letter that has the detailed of what happened. Annie was going to give the letter to Charmaine, but the evil concubine found out and they fought. Annie died. Sonja put her body in the lake, and frame Charmaine.
Charmaine is a prisoner, and Moses were frustrated as his people could not help him defeated his enemy. To solve the problem he made an official date where Charmaine will find her prince. The thing is, everyone knows that Charmaine has to married this greedy man who has power. Steven enter the competition. PLOT TWIST. Steven won the competition. Charmaine and Steven are engaged!!!! SO HAPPY!!!
Sonja was forced to married the greedy man. She was supposed to married him from the start but she realize that he wasn't charming and force Charmaine to married him, but karma fight back and that's her ending. *Life lesson in TVB dramas: Do good deed, and good deed will be receive, do bad deed, karma will get you back in the worse way. So do good deed guys*
Steven were sent to war, and Charmaine is in the palace waiting for his news.

These two makes Glided Chopstick an enjoyment to watch. They are super cute and hilarious.
Matt Yeung and Aimee Chan- Outbound Love
I don't know if I'm supposed to hate Nic or like him. One, he cheats on Law Sic Sic, two, he tells her that she is the only woman that he loved and three, suddenly he comes back and asks her for forgiveness.
Even when she did gives him a second chance, he realize that she loves someone else, and once again, he uses the tactic to break her heart so that she would move on and be with the person she truly loves.
Matt and Aimee's character short live romance in this series were bittersweet but I wouldn't mind seeing them playing as a couple again, because they, too were cute. But maybe this time, Matt wouldn't have to hurt her heart.

They married last year with a lot of celebrities attending such as good friends Myolie Wu, Linda Chung, Steven Ma, Kenneth Ma and so on. They have been together for 11 years. I'm so happy for this couple.
Joyce Tang and Matthew Chu
Happily married with Matthew Chu, Joyce's love life is on cloud nine. Look at both of their beautiful smiles. Joyce is so pretty and I'm glad she found "the one."

Last year I post on "TVB Couples 2013" that we should expect wedding bells and here it is. They were married on 1.1. 2014. Tina and Oscar has been dating for ten years. I'm so happy for Oscar and Tina.

You might recognize him as the runner up in "The Voice of Stars." He have also played a handful of minors roles in TVB dramas as well. I hope that he could have an album out soon because a man that has a talent in singing should not go to waste. They look so cute together!

Previously in "TVB Couples" I said that they should hurry up and get married and they finally did. I'm so happy for these two. Aimee has given birth to a baby boy in December and the baby boy name is Aidan. They married in Paris, France.
Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng
This couple has been dating for 22 years. They start dating in 1999 and end the relationship in 2004 and they reconcile again in 2011. Look at Sammi beautiful smiles. They look so good together, I wonder why they broke up in the first place. Anyway, Sammi have accept Andy's proposal and have celebrate at Bali. They plan to tie the knot next year, 2015. Yoyo Mung and Ekin Cheng
Married early this year. Rumor has it that Yoyo is planning to leave TVB to join the rival company, HKTV. 'A Great Way To Care 2' will be her last TVB series. Her contract with TVB will be expired at the end of this month. Ekin and Yoyo were married in Japan.
Timmy Hung and Janet Chow
Married last year or so. They had a baby girl. The baby name is TJ. Tavia Yeung and Him Law

How can I not mention this cute couple in this post?! Bosco and Myolie have been together for 7 years! Their first drama together was 'War Of In Laws' which was the most funniest drama I've ever watched! In fact it was so popular that they have a modern version of it.
Last year Myolie had named as TV Queen and Bosco was mention in one of her speeches. It was a speech where she said that if she win an award then Bosco would go to the restroom. (Something like that)

This couple was married last year and already a family of three couldn't be any happier for them. Married on 11.11.11! The proprosal started off as Vincent was on stage and praising his girlfriend and then he walk down the stage and in his arm was sunflower (Yoyo's favourite). Vincent kneel down and propose in front of hundreds of people watching them.
Moses Chan and Aimee Chan
The sweetest couple in TVB would have to go these two. Moses and Aimee are so cute together. I would say that they should hurry and get marry! Don't you guys think so?! I read somewhere that they have meet each other parents before, so fingercross that they could hurry and get marry!

Married since 2005. Chapman and Kristal is like every couple, there are times when they are very loving and there are time when they're mood changes. Either way this couple is a very much loving couple. Very much in love.

How can I not mention this rumor couple in this post! It would be silly of me for not adding them as a couple. How many of you think that Raymond and Linda are cute? I reckon that Raymond is cute with every woman he is pair with. Raymond always played as the caring and adorable guy. Not to mention his goofy smiles. I personally like his character in, 'My Sister Of Enternal Flower,' opposite Charmaine Sheh. His character in the drama is so funny. I think I'm a little off topic here. Back to Raymond and Linda, I really like their sub song in Heart Of Greed.
